A Baby Naming Ceremony is a non religious ceremony generally performed by a celebrant that celebrates the arrival and naming of a new baby. While there are no legalities involved with a Baby Naming Ceremony, they are a recognition of the gift of life, love, family, and the miracle of birth.
The ceremony welcomes the child into the family and the wider community. Parents and grandparents often make vows and life pledges to care, love and guide the child, along with friends or family members being nominated as guardians.
There are a variety of options offered with the presentation of a certificate that can be included such as parties, planting of trees, sand pouring, balloon and butterfly releases, readings, and blessings. We can help you plan your Naming Day to your beliefs with all the elements for a unique and memorable ceremony.

Coast to Country Celebrant offers a range of non-religious spiritual services based on your beliefs. We can officiate and guide ceremonies for funerals, memorials, burials, and cremations and work closely with you and funeral directors to ensure that the wishes of family and loved ones are met.
We meet with the family beforehand to create a service of love, warmth and remembrance. We can assist you in music choices, specific directions (such as placement of ashes), poems, readings and the writing of a eulogy or speeches.
Our priority is to support you throughout this time while honouring the life and memory of the person who has passed. We offer religious, non-religious, and alternative spiritual ceremonies and work with your choice of funeral director.
